Tax season is a wrap, the returns have been filed and my hope is that many of you are getting some well-deserved time to rest, relax and renew. But, the truth is, whether you focus largely on preparing returns during the crunch months of tax season or on doing accounting work throughout the year – or perhaps even both – you are first and foremost in the “people business.”
We talk to thousands of customers throughout the year and almost all of them tell us that building client relationships and making a difference in their lives is what matters most to them. That is one of the reasons we are launching a new brand name for professional tax products called “Intuit® ProConnect™.” It’s a name that reflects a greater emphasis and commitment to helping our customers create more connections – linking people, products, services and data across tax and accounting workflows – so that they can save time in the work that they do and play a larger and more influential role in their clients’ lives. This includes access and integration to a larger suite of Intuit products to make this happen.
Our products aren’t changing. ProConnect Tax Online, Lacerte and ProSeries will continue to feature time-saving functionality to make the tax preparation process simple and easy so that you can focus on what’s important … your clients’ needs and goals for the future. We are simply placing our entire suite of professional tax products under the new Intuit ProConnect portfolio brand name with the new product releases later this year to reflect that commitment. You’ll start to see the new name and logo begin to appear in the next few months.
We are excited about our new brand name and the promise behind it. We believe that by connecting you more, we can truly help you make a difference in your clients’ lives and help you grow your role from a preparer to an advisor who creates extraordinary value in the lives of your clients. And, here at Intuit ProConnect, we want to partner with you every step of the way to help you build your business, your relationships, and most of all, what it means to you to be a tax and accounting professional.
